After Stefanie Twitchell was diagnosed with cancer, Troy Martin of Scripted Motion wanted to create a web site where people could get updates on her progress and send donations. Troy wanted the design to be simple and focus on the content, which is my specialty.

I designed the site to be warm, full-of-life, and reflect Stef’s love of the great outdoors. The color palette and typography is feminine without being girly. The purple ribbon and daffodil hint at traditional cancer-awareness imagery in a fresh way.

My favorite part of the design is the flowerbeds. I coded a sketch in Processing to draw randomized grids of flowers, which were pieced together to form the lush imagery featured in the banner and the footer.
